  • The median is a type of representative value as well. It's the value in the middle of the data set, with half of the observations above it and the other half below it.

4. Mode:

The term which gets repeated most of the time in a given observation is termed as a mode.

Example: Given set of number is 2,2,2,9,9,6,7,5

The mode of the sequence is 2 ( as 2 is repeating most of the time)

5. Probability:

The chance of occurring any particular event is known as its probability. 

A number of outcomes or Sample Space  The set of all the possible outcomes to occur in any experiment is known as sample space.

Examples: Experiment : Tossing a coin, Sample Space (S) = {H,T}
